At the end of the semester, the Campus Card is automatically deactivated. You therefore do not need to return the card and may simply keep it.
To receive a refund of any remaining balance on the card, please contact the cashier at the cafeteria (mensa). There, your remaining balance can be paid out to you in cash.
If you require a refund to your bank account, please contact the Campus Card Service at the Student Office. Upon presentation of the card, a bank transfer of the remaining balance can be initiated. Please note that this process may take some time, as the payment must be authorized by the Würzburg Student Services (Studierendenwerk Würzburg). Amounts below €1 will not be refunded.
