How do I validate my CampusCard?

Your student ID not only grants you access to the campus and its possibilities but also serves as proof if you want to take advantage of discounts or offers for students and apprentices in the free market.

In order for this proof to be accepted, you absolutely need to have a current student ID! That's why you should have your ID validated at the university at the beginning of the semester.

To do this, please go to one of the designated machines on campus. You can find them here:

Campus 1: Building 1, ground floor

Campus 1: Building 20, ground floor

Note: Please do not confuse this machine with the one where you can load money onto your campus card.

To start the validation process, simply insert your card into the terminal. The card will now be held and validated for up to 30 seconds. Once the card is returned, you will have a validated campus card. If the machine returns the card immediately, please check if the card was inserted correctly and try again.

If you encounter any problems, please contact the Student Office in Building 1 or the Data Center in Building 20, 2nd floor.
