In this guide you will learn how to install the TH AB Chat Platform.
Installation of the Chat Platform
Go to https://element.io/download and download the software applicable to your operating System (e.g. Windows 64-bit):
Once the Download is complete, please move to the download folder and start the program with doubleclicking on the Element Setup.exe file:
The Installation runs now on its own and will also drop the following Icon on your Desktop:
Once the Installation is complete or you start the App via the desktop Icon, you will meet the Login windows. There you click on "Login" or "Anmelden":
Now you click on "Bearbeiten" or "Edit" in the upper right corner. Your credentials are not needed at this point.
Select the option for a different home server and type in: "chat.th-ab.de". Proceed with "Fortfahren" or "Continue".
Approve the adress with a click on the button to proceed.
The Browser opens up and requires you to now log in with your TH AB credentials:
Accept the following notifications with "Continue":
Now, you should find yourself in the Homescreen of the App. How you can navigate there will be explainend in another Guide. The Installation was successfully completed.
