Secure your Chats

    In this guide you will learn how to secure your chats in the TH AB Chat Platform.

    Secureing the chats

    1. Click on your profil icon in the upper left corner, then go to "Settings" or "Alle Einstellungen". Proceed in the security tab with "Setup" or "Einrichten"..



    2. Now you choose between a security key beeing generated or alternativly a pass phrase with security key. Click on "Continue" or "Fortfahren".



    3. You can download the key now as file or copy it as text file. If you safe the key in your Cloud-Storage from FAUBox or Nextcloud you will always have it available and backed up.



    4. Follow this window to the login and use your university credentials.



    5. As soon as the login is completed your chats will be secured automatically.
